About Andreas Lahr

Andreas was born 1964 in Bogota, Columbia. After his studies of Electro- and Information Technologies at the University of Munich, he started his career as software developer with introducing object oriented software technologies in commercial product development at the Central Laboratories of the Siemens AG. After being in various positions as system engineer he took over in 1992 the Product Manager responsibility for the definition and implementation of the worlds-first interactive Television system. As a continuous activity of the beginning digital media revolution Andreas worked on the introduction of digital media archives for the broadcast industry. In the late 90ties Andreas moved to the mobile telecommunication space as Business Manager for mobile applications. In the consequence he successfully delivered as Program manager the mobile TV solution to Vodafone's worldwide affiliates. Before moving to the entrepreneurial status Andreas headed the worldwide after-sales service for all Application Products (Messaging, Browsing, MobileTV as well as IPTV) of Nokia Siemens Networks. Andreas gained through his multiple senior positions an excellent hands-on understanding for all operational as well as commercial issues. In addition, he has a developed and broad market and customer insight in the telecom, IT and media space.
